This Alfa Romeo 147 came into the workshop in July 2025 needing a six-point roll cage for competition in the Alfa Romeo series which is organised by Alfa Romeo Owners Club of NSW. The owner knew what they wanted: a properly fitted cage built to Motorsport Australia state-level spec, nothing more, nothing less.

Not every race car needs a heap of extra fabrication. This one didn't. The brief was clean and straightforward, so that's how we built it, accurate tube fitment to the 147's body, proper welds throughout, and a cage designed around this specific car rather than adapted from something generic.

Three workshop days start to finish. Supplied in primer, ready for the owner to take away and continue their build.

Not every motorsport build needs to be complicated and this one was better for it. Every tube was fitted to the car before any tack welds went down.

The geometry was confirmed against the 147's body, and we worked through the main hoop, A-pillar bars and rear stays in sequence.

Clean welds, accurate measurements, and a cage that fits the car it was built for. That's the job.
