This Nissan N15 Pulsar SSS came into Noizee Engineering for a six-point Motorsport Australia national-level weld-in roll cage as part of its preparation for racing in the APRA Pulsar Series.
Along with the cage itself, we fabricated welded-in seat rails and completed tower-to-tower fabrication to give the car a solid, integrated foundation for competition.
This wasn't about throwing unnecessary fabrication at the car. Everything was built around what the Pulsar needed for the job it was being built to do.

Built for the APRA Pulsar Series
When a car is being built for a specific race series, you know exactly what the end goal is.
For this N15, that meant building the cage and supporting fabrication around a dedicated competition car rather than treating each component as a separate job.
The six-point cage forms the backbone of the setup, with the seat rails and tower-to-tower fabrication incorporated as part of the overall build.
Clean, functional and built for racing.
More Than Just a Cage
The cage might be the most obvious part when you look inside the car, but some of the most important work is in how everything around it comes together.
For this Pulsar, we welded in the seat rails rather than leaving the seating setup to be worked out afterwards.
The tower-to-tower fabrication was also completed as part of the job, tying the overall motorsport fabrication together into one purpose-built setup.
It's a much better approach than finishing the cage and then trying to work everything else around it later.
Built In-House in the Hawkesbury
The cage and supporting fabrication were completed in-house at the Noizee Engineering workshop in the Hawkesbury.
Every cage starts with the actual car in front of us.
We look at what it's being built for, what needs to integrate with the cage and what fabrication makes sense for that particular setup.
For a dedicated race car like this N15, doing the cage, seat rails and supporting fabrication together gives the rest of the build a much better starting point.
